Thanks to CTOnews.com netizens for the delivery of clues on the way! CTOnews.com, June 12 (Xinhua)-- Apple officially unveiled its first hybrid reality headset, the Vision Pro, at the Global developer Conference not long ago. According to the information, Apple has recently applied for the registration of several "Vision Pro" and "Apple Vision" trademarks in China, and the international classification involves website services, communication services, scientific instruments, etc., and the current trademark status is mostly in the process of application.

However, it seems difficult for Apple to obtain the trademark because CTOnews.com previously reported that Huawei successfully applied for the Vision Pro trademark as early as May 16, 2019, and the exclusive right to use the trademark lasted for 10 years from November 28, 2021 to November 27, 2031. The trademark belongs to International Classification 9 and covers a variety of goods and services such as LCD TVs, headset virtual reality devices and radio devices, which means that Apple's use of the name "Vision Pro" in China may be suspected of infringing Huawei's trademark rights.

It is worth noting that Huawei's registration of the Vision Pro trademark is not aimed at Apple, but with its own product line. Huawei has already launched two products related to "Vision", namely the Vision Glass, Huawei's first smart viewing glasses, and Huawei's Vision smart screen series, and Vision Pro may be a name reserved in advance for its smart screen series.

It is worth mentioning that the "Apple Vision" trademark of scientific instruments has been applied for registration by Yang, a natural person, but the application has been rejected.

It is not clear how Apple will deal with the Vision Pro trademark in China and may have to change its name when it goes public.
