Tuyuan 3DCenter reported that in February 2022, the price of an 8-Gb GDDR6 DRAM chip on the spot market was about $13, but now it is as low as $3.05. the capacity of an 8GB made up of eight chips is less than $25.

Reported that the sharp decline in the price of graphics memory is mainly due to the reduction in demand for GPU. GPU sales have declined since the first quarter of 2022.

So why don't graphics card manufacturers introduce cheap large graphics cards? Foreign media believe that companies like Nvidia cannot buy video storage at spot prices because they have signed long-term contracts with suppliers and prices are fixed no matter how the market changes.
