CTOnews.com June 10 news, Thailand AutoLife official website data show that BYD ATTO 3 (domestic yuan PLUS) registered 2025 units in May, winning the first pure electric vehicle sales in Thailand for the fifth month in a row. From January to May, the total number of licenses was 9310, with a market share of 38.6%.

CTOnews.com learned from official sources that the BYD ATTO 3 went on sale in Thailand in October 2022. On its first day of sale, it received 2507 on-site orders, exceeding 10,000 in 42 days. So far, BYD has 33 stores in Thailand and has sold more than 17000 passenger cars.

BYD ATTO 3 is equipped with BYD pure electric platform e platform 3.0. using Dragon Face 3.0 design language, the wind resistance coefficient of the whole vehicle is as low as 0.29. it can accelerate at 100km for 7.3s, and the maximum range can reach 480km (NEDC).

It is worth mentioning that the groundbreaking ceremony of BYD's passenger car production base in Thailand was held on March 10, covering an area of about 96 hectares. It is expected to be put into production in 2024, with an annual production capacity of about 150000 new energy vehicles.
