CTOnews.com June 10 news, WineHQ is currently in the 2-week cycle to promote the Wine 8.x version update, the team officially launched the 8.10 update today.

As a maintenance release, Wine 8.10 does not introduce a large number of new features, mainly improving performance, optimizing locale and time zone data processing.

All PE- > Unix transformations are through the system call interface. This means that Wine now uses the syscall interface to convert PE (portable executable files) and Unix memory space, thereby improving performance and stability.

Fixed the mouse cursor clipping problem. Improved the relevant code and fixed some problems when the mouse cursor was cut off the screen.

Virtual memory placeholders are supported. Wine now supports virtual memory placeholders, which are used by some applications to improve performance.

Update locale and time zone data. Locale and time zone data have been updated to the latest version, which should resolve some problems with applications that use locale-specific data.
