It is unclear whether AMD will launch the two processor families at the same time. Some data miners believe that the sharp dragon Threadripper PRO 7905WX series chips are designed for motherboards with SP5 (LGA6096) processor sockets, while the sharp dragon Threadripper 7900X series HEDT models are designed for motherboards with SP6 processor sockets (LGA4844).
