CTOnews.com June 10, Microsoft introduced the "reset synchronization" (Reset Sync) feature in the Edge 89 Beta version in 2021. Microsoft announced that as of Edge 114, Microsoft Edge browsers no longer offer the "reset synchronization" button and replace it with the "resynchronize now" option.

Microsoft Edge browser, like Chrome, automatically synchronizes favorites, sets history, passwords, open tags, extensions, automatically fills in form entries, payment information, and other types of data on all logged-in devices after users log in.

Users may sometimes want to reset data synchronized to the cloud and delete all relevant content. CTOnews.com Note: users can delete data from Microsoft Servers by accessing Settings > profile > Sync and clicking the "reset synchronization" button in Edge 113browser.

In Edge 114, the reset Sync button is adjusted to resynchronize now to merge your local browsing data with synchronized data stored on the Microsoft server.
