CTOnews.com, June 9, according to Bloomberg, the construction of TSMC's JASM plant in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan has brought traffic problems and aroused public concern. TSMC responded that it had discussed ways to solve traffic problems with the local government and relevant enterprises.

▲ source: TSMC reported that TSMC's Japanese plant is surrounded by checkerboard roads without traffic signs and signalling equipment, and farmers used to drive K-Car and light trucks to transport agricultural products. With the arrival of TSMC, the construction of the JASM plant began, and a large number of heavy machinery and equipment used for plant construction poured in, causing traffic jams. This makes it take at least 90 minutes or more for local people to commute, causing dissatisfaction among local people.

After the plant starts construction, it may further aggravate the local traffic congestion problem.
