CTOnews.com, June 9 (Xinhua)-- the Forbes Global Enterprises 2000 list was released, with total sales of US $50.8 trillion and net profit of US $4.4 trillion. The United States ranked first with 611 companies, while China (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) ranked second with 391 companies.

JPMorgan Chase topped the list, with total revenue of $180 billion in the fiscal year to March (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 1.28 trillion yuan), up 44% year-on-year, and net income of $136 billion, up 13%. Last year's No. 1 Berkshire Hathaway lost $22.8 billion in 12 months, falling from No. 1 to No. 338. Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Construction Bank and Agricultural Bank of China ranked second, third and fourth respectively, while Microsoft and Apple ranked ninth and tenth.

It is reported that the top three companies in global revenue this year are Wal-Mart, Saudi Aramco and Amazon, and Apple is the only technology company among the top 10 companies with the highest revenue in the world. The top 10 companies with the highest net profits in the world in 2023 are Saudi Aramco, Apple and Microsoft.

In the automotive industry, battery supplier Ningde Times rose from 298 to 121; BYD jumped from 580 to 170; Geely climbed from 989 to 858; and ideal car rose from 1984 to 1691.
