CTOnews.com June 8, Jon Peddie Research released the latest research report. Data show that shipments of AIB graphics cards fell by 12.6% in the first quarter of 2023, down 38.2% from a year earlier, with total shipments of about 6.3 million yuan.

Analysts point out that the market share of desktop independent display has changed this quarter, with AMD's market share unchanged from the previous quarter, while Intel entered the market in the third quarter of 22 with the strength of the Arc A770 and A750 and has now doubled its 4 per cent market share from the previous quarter, while Nvidia has fallen by 2 per cent but still maintains its dominant position with 84 per cent.

JPR found that shipments of AIB graphics cards fell 12.6% in the current quarter from the previous quarter, below the 10-year average of-4.9%.

Total AIB shipments fell 38.2% to 6.3 million yuan in the current quarter compared with the same period last year, down from 7.16 million units in the previous quarter.

AMD's total desktop graphics card AIB unit shipments fell 7.5% in the quarter.

Nvidia's quarterly unit shipments fell by 15.2%. Nvidia continues to dominate with a market share of 83.7%.

Compared with last year, AIB shipments fell by 38.2% year on year.

JPR analyst C. Robert Dow said, "in the first quarter of 2023, the AIB market faced the consequences of supply chain inconsistencies and oversupply caused by orders during the epidemic, and the second half of 2023 was even brighter. AMD reported a month-on-month increase in channel sales of the Radeon 6000 and Radeon 7000 Series GPU. Intel is once again committed to its next generation of Battlemage series GPU, bringing more competition to the game graphics card market. Nvidia released the first 60 series in the Ada Lovelace series. AIB's 60 series product line is traditionally the most popular product line for Nvidia gamers. "

CTOnews.com noticed that the Nvidia RTX 4060 Ti 8G graphics card has opened an appointment with JD.com and started robbing at 11: 00 on June 9 for 3199 yuan.

According to the Nvidia website, the RTX 4060 Ti model is a 2-slot design with a length of 244mm and a width of 98mm. For comparison, the previous generation of RTX 3060 Ti was also designed for 2 slots, with a length of 242mm and a width of 112mm.
