Under the contract, Compal will lease 40 hectares of land in Lianhetai Industrial Park. The factory is expected to be completed in 2023.

It is said that the factory will be tested in the first quarter of 2024 and officially put into production in the second quarter of 2024. It is expected that 12 million products will be produced in the first phase of 2026, 24 million products will be reached by 2030, and the total product will reach 30 million pieces per year by 2031.

The plant will produce and assemble computers, computer peripherals, communications equipment, household appliances and electronic components. The factory's revenue is estimated to be about $1.2 billion in 2029 and $6.8 billion in 2037.
