SAIC sold 400800 vehicles in May and achieved a monthly sales increase of 10.2 per cent year-on-year, of which 75900 new energy vehicles were sold, up 5.9 per cent from a year earlier.

In terms of independent brands, from January to May this year, automobile passenger car sales totaled 338400, an increase of 19.5% over the same period last year, while SAIC Chase sold 87500 vehicles, an increase of 20.9% over the same period last year. In overseas markets, SAIC sold a total of 438500 vehicles in overseas markets from January to May, an increase of 47.7 percent over the same period last year.

According to reports, SAIC-Volkswagen produced and sold 91905 and 92983 vehicles in May, up 3.52% and 6.18% over the same period last year, while SAIC GM Wuling produced and sold 97641 and 110300 vehicles, up 4.83% and 10.3% over the same period last year.

At present, a number of manufacturers have announced their May results. CTOnews.com summarizes the delivery / sales data of various brands in May as follows:

BYD sold 240220 cars in May, an increase of 97.63% over the same period last year.

GAC GROUP's May car sales increased by 14.50% over the same period last year, of which 50377 new energy vehicles increased by 124.79% compared with the same period last year.

The May sales of Changan Automobile increased by 32.49% in May compared with the same period last year, and the number of 29288 new energy vehicles increased by 113.42%.

Chery Group's May sales of 139000 vehicles increased by 63% compared with the same period last year.

Geely's May sales of 120100 vehicles increased by 35% compared with the same period last year; 24100 pure electric vehicles increased by 53% compared with the same period last year; and 2912 plug-in hybrid vehicles decreased by 25% year-on-year.

Great Wall sold a total of 101020 units in May, of which 23755 were new energy vehicles.

SAIC sold 400800 vehicles in May, of which 75900 new energy vehicles increased by 5.9% over the same period last year.

Ian sold 45003 vehicles in May, up 114 per cent from a year earlier and 10 per cent month-on-month. Cumulative sales from January to May were 166323, an increase of 119% over the same period last year.

Ideal car delivered 28277 new cars in May, an increase of 146% over the same period last year.

Nezha delivered 13029 cars in May, an increase of 18% over the same period last year. Among them, 2042 units are delivered overseas and 1716 units are delivered by Nashi GT.

12058 zero-running cars were delivered in May, a month-on-month increase of more than 38%.

Polar Krypton delivered a total of 8678 cars in May, an increase of about 100% over the same period last year.

Xiaopeng delivered 7506 new cars in May, up 6% from the previous month.

Changan Deep Blue SL03 delivered 7021 sets in May.

The delivery volume of Lulai Motor in May was 6155, down 7.6% from the previous month.

The overall sales of Wei brand cars reached 5770 in May.

Selis Group's May sales of 16740 vehicles decreased by 16.27% compared with the same period last year, of which the delivery of 5629 vehicles in the AITO interlocution series increased by 22.7% compared with the previous month.

BAIC Langu's May sales were 4085 vehicles, up 78.68% from the same period last year.

Lifan Technology sold 3780 vehicles in May, including 3175 new energy vehicles.

Lantu delivered 3003 new cars in May, an increase of 231% over the same period last year.
