CTOnews.com June 8, overseas blogger Kartikey Singh recently revealed that the Xiaomi 14 series will make up for the shortcomings of the Xiaomi 13 series (Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13Pro) in selfie and USB interface.

The Xiaomi 14 series will be equipped with a front-facing camera that can record 4K video for the first time to meet higher consumer demand for selfies, Kartikey Singh said. (CTOnews.com Note: the front lens of Xiaomi 13 Ultra still can only record 1080p video.)

In addition, the USB 3.2 interface carried by Xiaomi 13 Ultra is also expected to be devolved to Xiaomi 14 series models, and Xiaomi 13 Pro will be the last flagship model with USB 2.0 interface. It is reported that the USB 3.2 interface is expected to achieve the transmission speed of 5Gbps.

CTOnews.com noted that Kartikey Singh worked with another blogger, SPinfoJP, earlier this year to create an unofficial rendering of Xiaomi 13 Ultra, claiming that its authenticity was close to 90 per cent.
