Thanks to CTOnews.com netizens OC_Formula and Luo Mu Piao for the clue delivery! CTOnews.com June 8, Intel released a new open source equal width font "Intel One Mono" for developers, which covers more than 200 Latin languages and offers four bold specifications, namely Light (thinner), Regular (standard), Medium (medium, slightly thicker than Regular) and Bold (bold). Italics are supported by default.

The font, developed by the Intel brand team, Frere-Jones Type and VMLY&R, is officially "a combination of clarity, readability and the protection of developers' eyesight".

In addition, developers with poor eyesight and blind developers are also involved in the design work, providing feedback at every stage of the design. Intel said that with their help, Intel One Mono will make people's vision more relaxed when reading and typing code, helping to reduce eye fatigue and physical and mental fatigue.

CTOnews.com noted that Inter One Mono launched v1.0 at the end of April, and the latest version is v1.2.1, which can be downloaded from Intel's GitHub warehouse.
