According to the report, some Tesla suppliers have announced plans to build factories in Mexico. For example, Asahi Group announced in March this year that it would set up a production base in Mexico with a total investment of no more than US $276 million (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 1.968 billion yuan). The project was officially launched in May in the Mexican state of Coahuila, and sources say the plant is expected to start production next summer.
