According to the new rules, only small PR content or LOGO of officially designated sponsors can be imported during live broadcast, and its display ratio can only be 3% of the screen size at most. And officials will ban embedded ads on the platform altogether, showing video, audio or graphic ads in the form of breaks.

On the other hand, the new rules also require exclusive live content, that is, anchors cannot synchronize live content on rival platforms such as YouTube Live or Mildom, which will also directly reduce the revenue of many anchors.

In the face of strong protests from the anchor, Twitch released a statement today saying that the new rules affect the anchor's ability to work with sponsors to generate revenue, which is detrimental to both the anchor and Twitch, so these contents will be deleted immediately. At the same time, Twitch also said that it would not prevent the anchor from establishing a direct relationship with the sponsor, and the anchor could continue to own and control its own sponsor business.
