It is said that these stores have "covered city business circles, various business and community centers" and supported "home appliances 3C to store group purchase".

SUNING said that at present, more than 9000 Suning Tesco "home appliance V purchase" counter staff have set up a "Douyin employee account", which can provide consumers with home appliance consumption trends, functional introductions, product selection suggestions and other services.

SUNING also said that within this year, it will further deepen cooperation with Douyin, and plans to move 100 Suning Yijia Plaza stores and flagship stores to Douyin life service platform to provide "family scene solutions" with more local life characteristics.

After inquiry, IT House learned that SUNING currently operates 969 home appliances 3C direct stores in the first and second tier market store channels in 2022. A net of 769 stores were opened in 2022. The sales of Maoning platform increased by 12.89% in 2022 compared with the same period last year. In the fourth quarter, retail sales accounted for nearly 20%, and operating expenses fell by 37.92% compared with the same period last year.

The 2022 annual report released on May 1 showed that SUNING's annual GMV was 111.3 billion yuan, with operating income of 71.374 billion yuan, down 48.62% from the same period last year. SUNING's continuous cooperation with other brands recently can be seen as SUNING's "self-help behavior" in the face of financial reports.
