According to the Seattle Times, 14-year-old Callia Quiz recently received a bachelor's degree in computer science and engineering from Santa Clara University, a record in the past 172 years, according to the Seattle Times. Currently, he has joined SpaceX and is the youngest engineer in the company.

▲ Touyuan: Quiz, a descendant of Bangladeshi immigrants, was admitted to Las Bosita Community College at the age of 9, according to his personal blog. Subsequently, Quiz entered the University of Santa Clara in 2020 to earn a formal bachelor's degree. Ahmed Emmer, an associate professor in the Department of computer Science and Engineering, says Quizz is often not taken seriously because of his age, but always puts forward insightful views.

Santa Clara University pointed out on its website that Quiz was involved in many extracurricular activities when he was at school. He had an internship at Intel Labs for three and a half years and was offered a job by three technology companies in February this year.

Quizz said he sent resumes to companies throughout the year and was rejected 95 times before getting three job offers. He decided to join SpaceX as a software engineer and then hope to study for a PhD in Washington State.

CTOnews.com saw in the data that SpaceX receives nearly 1 million resumes each year, but the final number of applicants is less than 5000, with an admission rate of less than 0.5 per cent. Quizz also set a record and became the youngest software engineer in SpaceX.
