In the upcoming iOS 17 system, Apple introduced the Family Passwords feature to make it easy for users to share passwords and Passkey with friends and family.

Users can open the iOS 17 settings app, and in the password section, they can select friends or family members to create a trusted group. Users can assign sharing passwords to the group, such as sharing shared streaming services and online bill payment passwords.

CTOnews.com note: each participant can edit and add passwords, and the changes will be synchronized throughout the group. Users can choose to create multiple groups, such as friend groups, relatives groups, family groups, and so on.

The team creator can add and remove people, or delete the entire team. Like regular passwords, shared passwords are stored in the iCloud keychain and encrypted end-to-end.
