CTOnews.com, June 8 (Xinhua)-- Apple has added a new feature to its iOS 17 system to automatically identify and block information and files that may contain sensitive content, such as nude photos.

Users can choose whether or not to enable this feature to avoid receiving pictures they don't want to see. This feature applies to messages, AirDrop interspace delivery, contact posters for phone applications (Contact Poster), FaceTime messages, and third-party applications. All images involving nudity are blurred, and users can click the "Show" button to view the original image. All the tests are done on the device, and Apple cannot view the content shared between users.

CTOnews.com noted that the feature is an extension of Apple's communications security feature for children last year, which detects and prevents children from receiving nude pictures and protects them from undesirable information. In iOS 17, this feature will also be extended to interspace delivery, system-wide photo selectors, FaceTime messages, and third-party applications.
