CTOnews.com, June 7 (Xinhua)-- Samsung is expected to launch its next generation smartwatch, the Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, in July 2023. Before the launch, Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 series watches have been certified by FCC.

According to the American FCC certification, the SM-R930 is the 40mm version of the Galaxy Watch 6 watch, while the SM-R940 is the 44mm version. According to the certification documents, Galaxy Watch 6 has dual-band Wi-Fi a / b / g / n, Bluetooth 5.3 and NFC functions, and both sizes of smartwatches support wireless charging and come with a wireless charger model ER-OR900.

According to SamMobile, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 series can charge up to 10W wirelessly. Unfortunately, this is the same as last year's Galaxy Watch 5 wireless charging speed, Galaxy Watch 4 wireless charging speed of 5W.

According to revelations, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 will lack the physical rotating bezel, while the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic will bring back the iconic rotating bezel that the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro lacks, and both smartwatches are expected to be equipped with the Exynos W980 chip (with a slight increase in CPU frequency) and will be pre-installed to run the One UI 5 Watch based on the Wear OS 4.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 watches will have activity and health tracking functions, including accelerometer, barometer, compass, ECG, gyroscope, heart rate monitoring, SpO2 oxygen monitoring tracking, stress tracking and sleep tracking, as well as body composition analysis, similar to the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5 series.
