The platform maintains zero tolerance for such behaviors, and will carry out in-depth special governance to deal with relevant violations strictly.

CTOnews.com saw in the official announcement that the Wechat platform handled 438 illegal competitive live studios, 356 illegal competitive accounts and 7 live broadcast accounts in the past week.

At a press conference held by the Information Office of the State Council at the beginning of this year, a person in charge of the State Internet Information Office introduced the relevant situation of the "Qinglang" series of special actions in 2023.

According to reports, this special action will focus on nine aspects, such as the chaos of "self-media", the manipulation of information content by the network water army, and standardizing the network communication order of key traffic links.

Among them, the special action of "Qinglang Network hostility rectification" requires: to rectify the problem of live broadcast "competition", and to seriously investigate and deal with anchors' acts such as bravely fighting, tearing and attacking each other, abusing abuse and vomiting, etc., in view of some anchors evading supervision and taking advantage of "secondary accounts" to carry out vulgar behavior, take unified measures to deal with all their accounts, and those with bad circumstances are blacklisted.
