CTOnews.com news on June 7, according to preliminary statistics of the Federation of passengers, from May 1 to 31, retail sales in the passenger car market were 1.759 million, an increase of 30% over the same period last year and 8% month-on-month growth.

The Federation said that since the beginning of this year, retail sales have totaled 7.654 million, up 4 percent from the same period last year, while national passenger car manufacturers wholesale 2.015 million vehicles, up 27 percent from the same period last year and 13 percent from the previous year. Since the beginning of this year, a total of 8.857 million vehicles have been wholesale, an increase of 11% over the same period last year.

In May this year, there were 557000 new energy retail vehicles in China's passenger car market, an increase of 55% over the same period last year and 6% month-on-month growth. Since the beginning of this year, retail sales have totaled 2.4 million, up 40 percent from the same period last year. New energy, a national passenger car manufacturer, wholesale 671000 vehicles, up 59 percent from the same period last year and 11 percent from the previous year. Since the beginning of this year, a total of 2.779 million vehicles have been wholesale, an increase of 47 per cent over the same period last year.

According to the data released by the Federation of passengers, BYD's wholesale sales in May can reach 239092, Tesla's China sales are 77695, and GAC's EAN is 45003. FIFA estimates that Geely will sell 27200 cars in May, while SAIC passenger cars, ideal cars and SAIC GM Wuling will reach 29126, 28277 and 24373.

BYD sold 240220 cars in May, an increase of 97.63% over the same period last year.

Geely sold 24124 pure electric vehicles in May, up 53% from the same period last year.

Guangzhou Auto Ian sold 45003 vehicles in May, up 114 per cent from a year earlier and 10 per cent month-on-month. Cumulative sales from January to May were 166323, an increase of 119% over the same period last year.

Ideal car delivered 28277 new cars in May, an increase of 146% over the same period last year.

Nezha delivered 13029 cars in May, an increase of 18% over the same period last year. Among them, 2042 units are delivered overseas and 1716 units are delivered by Nashi GT.

12058 zero-running cars were delivered in May, a month-on-month increase of more than 38%.

Polar Krypton delivered a total of 8678 cars in May, an increase of about 100% over the same period last year.

Xiaopeng delivered 7506 new cars in May, up 6% from the previous month.

Changan Deep Blue SL03 delivered 7021 sets in May.

The delivery volume of Lulai Motor in May was 6155, down 7.6% from the previous month.

The AITO interlocution series delivered 5629 new cars, an increase of 22.7% over the previous month.

Lantu delivered 3003 new cars in May, an increase of 231% over the same period last year.

The overall sales of Wei brand cars reached 5770 in May.

Lifan Technology sold 3780 vehicles in May, including 3175 new energy vehicles.
