CTOnews.com, June 7 (Xinhua) Norwegian automotive magazine Motor recently tested the range of 32 hot-selling electric cars in the market and found that only 13 reached or exceeded the nominal WLTP mileage.

The full name of "WLTP" is World Light Vehicle Test Procedure (CTOnews.com Note: world Light vehicle Test Program), which is a mileage standard for new energy vehicles.

The range measurement is not scientific and standardized in a harsh sense, but the whole journey is carried out in good weather, and all vehicles drive along the same route.

At the top of the list is Tesla Model S Long Range AWD, the official WLTP has a range of 634km, and the measured range is 672km, exceeding 6 per cent.

Xiaopeng G9 and Xiaopeng P7 have the largest increase over the nominal range. Xiaopeng G9 (4WD) has a nominal range of 520km, with a measured range of 587.8 km, exceeding 13%. Xiaopeng P7 (4WD) has a nominal range of 505km and a measured range of 557km, exceeding 10.3%.
