In terms of high availability, GaussDB innovates the deposit and calculation separation architecture, using Huawei cloud base storage hardware-level, real-time data synchronous replication technology, and combined with distributed strong consistent algorithm to achieve dual-cluster and dual-live backup in the distributed architecture, which can ensure zero data loss (RPO=0) in case of emergency. At the same time, the architecture can also ensure that the Bug risk radius of a single cluster can be controlled, and the hardware and software of each cluster can be upgraded and repaired independently.

In terms of high security, GaussDB provides the industry's first full-secret database in the form of pure software, and it is the only database certified by CC EAL4 + in China, indicating that its design and source code have reached the highest international security level. In the full-secret database, GaussDB has also invented a number of patents, for example, through mathematical algorithms to query and operate directly in the ciphertext space, which greatly improves the efficiency of ciphertext data processing and leads more than 35% compared with similar products in the industry.

In terms of high performance, the Ustore storage engine built by GaussDB innovates from the kernel architecture developed by the database, ensuring high performance and very low jitter of the database.
