CTOnews.com, June 7 (Xinhua)-- Apple has adjusted the user interface of the Podcasts app to make it look more modern and have a smoother interactive experience in its iOS / iPadOS 17 developer preview update.

The "Now Playing" screen no longer uses a white or gray background, but instead has design elements similar to Apple Music, with blurred effects, and improved volume and playback progress control.

CTOnews.com Apple has also adjusted the chapter list of podcast shows to show exactly how much time is left before the next show and how long each program will take.

When the program displays an image of each episode, it appears at the top of the "playing" screen, and the podcast illustration is displayed directly below in a smaller size, followed by the title.

Apple has also adjusted the Listen Now tab so that each podcast card is the same color as the cover, and users can now filter search results by popular results, shows, episodes and channels.
