CTOnews.com June 7, the first OnePlus folding screen smartphone will be launched in the third quarter of this year, according to CEO Pete Lau (Liu Zuohu). Now Yogesh Brar has revealed that an event with a folding screen will be held in New York in the first half of August and will be launched around the world thereafter.

According to other sources, OPPO will also launch its Find N3 folding screen in the Chinese market in August. One plus Fold may only be the international version of OPPO Find N3, which is expected to support 120Hz refresh rate with 8-inch QHD+ resolution internal screen and 6.5inch FHD + resolution external screen.

The new folding screen phone will carry Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, up to 16GB LPDDR5 memory and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 memory. One plus Fold is expected to run Android 13 / OxygenOS 13.1, which is close to the official release of Google Android 14 in August, but it is not expected to be installed soon.

One plus Fold folding screen will be 80W wired charging, built-in 4800mAh battery, rear 50MP main camera + 48MP ultra wide angle lens + 32MP periscope telephoto camera, front 32MP selfie camera for both inner screen and outer screen.
