CTOnews.com June 6 news, according to microstar news, its Intel 700/600 DDR5 motherboard and AMD AM5 series motherboard have fully supported "non-binary" memory, four slots fully inserted capacity up to 192GB.

CTOnews.com previously reported that non-binary memory uses 24Gb DRAM chips instead of the current standard 16Gb modules. If you take 20 24Gb DRAM chips and install them on a DIMM, you get 48GB of usable memory after taking into account ECC and metadata capacity.

At present, the new 24GB and 48GB memory modules are available in large quantities, with regular models of DDR5-5200 and DDR5-5600, as well as overclocked models of DDR5-8000. In addition, a single 24GB / 48GB notebook DDR5 memory is also coming soon.
