In May, Chery Holdings Group sold 139172 vehicles, an increase of 63 percent over the same period last year, and sold more than 100000 vehicles for the 12th consecutive month. From January to May, Chery Group sold a total of 596220 cars, an increase of 61% over the same period last year.

The main passenger car brands of Chery Group are:

The Chery brand sold 103160 vehicles in May, up 61.2 per cent from a year earlier. 433545 vehicles were sold from January to May, up 55.9 per cent from a year earlier.

Xingtu brand sold 7612 vehicles in May, up 109.2% from January to May, up 101.1% from January to May.

The Jetway brand sold 19821 vehicles in May, up 72.1% from the same period last year. Ting sold 90774 vehicles from January to May, an increase of 97.3% over the same period last year.

The sales of "three Musketeers" of Ruihu 8, Ruihu 7 and Jettos X70 contributed 17219, 18976 and 10186 respectively in May.

As previously reported by CTOnews.com, on June 2, Chery Group announced the mass production of a new Kunpeng super-performance electric hybrid C-DM engine and gearbox. Under the blessing of Kunpeng super-performance electric mixer C-DM, Chery Group's Chery, Xingtu and Jetway brands will be fully mixed.

Chery Group said that by 2024, the company will launch more than 20 C-DM models, as well as independent new energy electric brand iCAR to launch new pure electric models.
