CTOnews.com June 6, Milk-V Mars is a single board computer the size of a credit card that looks a lot like a raspberry pie Raspberry Pi. However, this small PC does not use an ARM-based processor, but a 1.5GHz StarFive JH7110 quad-core processor based on RISC-V architecture.

The Milk-V Mars single board computer measures 85mm x 56mm (3.3in x 2.2in) and supports LPDDR4 memory from 1GB to 8GB, as well as an eMMC slot for flash storage and an microSD slot for removable storage.

Milk-V said that if users use both a HDMI port and a MIPI-DSI connector, the single board computer can support up to two monitors, play H.264 and H.265 video at up to 4K / 60fps, and support H.265 video coding at up to 1080p / 30fps.

The microcomputer can be used as a fanless PC, but it also has pins for connecting 5V fans. In addition to using the USB-C port for power supply, the GPIO connector connector includes power input and supports Power over Ethernet.
