Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--

Thanks to CTOnews.com netizens for the delivery of clues on the way! CTOnews.com, June 6, according to official news from the China manned Space Office, the Tianzhou V cargo spacecraft, which was evacuated from the space station assembly and has been in orbit independently for 33 days, completed its rendezvous and docking with the space station assembly at 03:10 on June 6, 2023, Beijing time.

At present, the space station assembly is in good condition, and the follow-up work will continue as planned.

As previously reported by CTOnews.com, the Tianzhou V cargo spacecraft successfully evacuated from the space station assembly at 15:26 on May 5, 2023, Beijing time, and moved into an independent flight phase. After the Shenzhou-15 manned spacecraft withdrew from the space station assembly, the Tianzhou-5 manned spacecraft circled and docked at the front port of the node module of the space station. This is because the Tianzhou cargo spacecraft is not only responsible for delivering materials to the space station, but also responsible for taking away the waste in space.

The schematic diagram of the ▲ Tianzhou V cargo spacecraft shows that the Tianzhou V, the China manned Space Engineering Office, was launched into orbit in November last year, carrying materials such as consumables, propellants, and applied (test) testing devices for the three astronauts of Shenzhou 15 in orbit for six months.

At present, two cargo ships in China are in orbit at the same time, which can realize the separate placement of cargo bags and wastes in the space station. Among them, the Tianzhou V cargo spacecraft, as a waste storage room, will be controlled to re-enter the atmosphere this month (June 2023) for ablation and destruction.
