CTOnews.com, June 6, after multiple sources said Apple was focusing on improving its Wallet app in the upcoming iOS 17 system update. There is now public evidence that this change will indeed be unveiled at the WWDC 2023 developer conference.

CTOnews.com previously reported that Bloomberg's Mark Gurman revealed that Apple will invite more credit card companies to move in in its iOS 17 system.

Goolman said Apple users can view information such as credit card balances directly in the wallet app, giving Apple Pay-enabled credit cards privileges similar to Apple Card.

Now there is new public evidence of the change, when users visited the Apple Business Register website and found that Apple had added a separate wallet for the first time, compared with the previous three options: "Information", "Health" and "Map".

This means that credit card companies can move into the wallet app, allowing users to directly query information such as the balance in the card.
