CTOnews.com, June 6 (Xinhua)-- Apple officially changed the wake-up word for Siri voice assistant from "Hey Siri" to "Siri" at this year's WWDC 2023 developer conference.

Apple has announced that it will be easier for users to wake up their virtual voice assistant after upgrading the iOS / iPadOS 17 update.

Apple said that the main reason for the previous use of "Hey Siri" is that the underlying engineering and training work is easier to trigger for two words.

CTOnews.com Note: Apple says that although it seems easy to cut a "Hey" and use only "Siri" on the surface, the actual background processing has been greatly adjusted and optimizes the problem of accidentally triggering responses in some scenarios (such as mentioning Siri during a conversation).
