Apple said that with the Continuity Camera feature, users can launch FaceTime applications on Apple TV and connect wirelessly to iPhone and iPad. Users can put the incoming calls received on iPhone and put them on the Apple TV to make calls.

The FaceTime main interface on Apple TV can intelligently center the speaker and automatically adjust the LVB source layout when new users join.

CTOnews.com also learned from the report that Apple has opened up relevant Continuity Camera API to developers, allowing third-party video call applications such as Zoom and Webex to use iPhone and iPad as live sources to launch corresponding applications on Apple TV for FaceTime communication.
