The Vision Pro looks like a pair of ski mirrors, controlled by eyes, gestures and voice. The head has a glass front panel and an aluminum frame, including sensors, cameras, display screens and computing components cooled by fans. Headphone masks and straps are lined and modular, and Apple says they can be bent to accommodate a variety of face and head shapes. Threaded headbands can be changed in different sizes and styles, and Apple works with Zeiss to produce prescription lenses that can be magnetically attached to the display screen for myopia. There is an external battery with a 2-hour battery that can be connected through a "soft braided cable", so it can be put in a pocket when in use. Apple says its display will be clearer than ever, with a micro-OLED screen with 2300 megapixels and a monocular resolution of more than 4K.

The Vision Pro is an AR device, but it can also switch between augmented reality and full virtual reality (VR) with a knob. Users do not need to use the handle control, just browse the application icon by staring, tap to select, swipe and scroll, or issue voice commands. The device adopts a new operating system and has a three-dimensional interface. The application experience in Vision Pro is not limited by the display boundary, and users can enlarge the application to any size and place it wherever they want.

Apple also promises that users will not be cut off from the people around them by wearing the headdisplay, which uses a system called EyeSight to display their eyes, and if users are in full VR mode, a glowing screen will cover their eyes to show that they don't want to be disturbed.

The device uses perspective video to allow users to see the full-color real world, and users can also project 3D objects into the real space, including pulling objects from the message thread into the real world. FaceTime on Vision Pro displays life-size characters during video calls and optimizes the experience of viewing photos and videos. The Vision Pro is also "Apple's first 3D camera" and can display depth in video through spatial audio. The head display has a cinema-level video viewing experience and can zoom the screen beyond the size of the room.

Importantly, the Vision Pro header also supports Bluetooth accessories, which can be connected to Mac for internal use.

Apple also promoted headline TV and Arcade content, including high-quality content from Disney.

The Vision Pro is equipped with a M2 chip and a brand new R1 chip, which is mainly responsible for transmission, which officials say can be reached in 12 milliseconds, faster than the blink of an eye. In addition, the head display uses a new operating system, visionOS, and has a special app store.
