CTOnews.com, June 5 (Xinhua)-- Shuttle has been making small personal computers, but many of the company's recent models are more designed for corporate or industrial use than for home use.

The Shuttle XPC Nano NC40U uses a 12th-generation Intel Alder Lake-U processor with 15W power and a size of 5.6in (about 142.24 mm) x 5.6in (about 142.24 mm) x 1.7in (CTOnews.com Note: about 43.18mm).

The Shuttle XPC Nano NC40U system is equipped with Intel Cayon 7305, Core i3-1215U, Core i5-1235U or Core i7-1255U processors and supports up to 64GB DDR4-3200 memory with two 260-pin SODIMM sockets.

The computer supports up to three storage devices:

1 x M.2 2280 PCIe Gen 4 x4 PCIe NVMe SSD

1 x M.2 2280 PCIe Gen 3 x4 SATA SSD

1 x 2.5in hard drive or SSD (up to 15mm height)

Device ports include:

1 HDMI 2.0b

1 DisplayPort

1 Gigabit Ethernet (Intel I219)

1 USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C

2 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A

4 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A

1 DC DC power input

Shuttle said that if the HDMI, DisplayPort and USB-C ports are used at the same time, the NC40U can support up to three monitors; the NC40U is equipped with 65W (19V / 3.42A) power supply, has an M.2 2230 E Key slot for wireless network cards, and supports Wake on LAN.

Shuttle has not released NC40U pricing or availability details.
