CTOnews.com June 5, Schenker's game brand XMG has released the latest APEX series of notebooks, which will be used as an entry-level series, with AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS processors, support for Nvidia GeForce 4050 and GeForce 4060 graphics cards, and IPS panels with FHD resolution and 144Hz refresh rates.

The APEX series also brings an improved chassis with enhanced compound cooling, the fan uses a four-way design and supports a DIY repairable design with dual DDR5 and PCIe Gen 4 × 4 slots; supports two SO-DIMM slots for up to 64GB DDR5-4800 memory and provides sufficient storage through two M.2 SSD slots.

The APEX 15 and 17 models feature 144Hz, 300 nit FHD IPS frosted panels covering 90% sRGB gamut, one USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, 2 USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 port, 1 USB-A 2.0 port, independent headset and microphone Jack, and a full-size SD card reader. The back of the APEX M23 laptop supports 1 HDMI 2.1 and 1 mini-DisplayPort 1.4a port of G-SYNC, as well as a Gigabit Ethernet Jack; the retail model will be equipped with a keyboard with a more standard ISO layout and "normal" Enter keys.

Pre-order of XMG APEX 17 / 15 series notebooks will begin soon, and 16GB memory will be available.
