CTOnews.com June 4 news, many TSMC employees complained on Glassdoor (similar to pulse) that they could not stand the working conditions of TSMC's new factory in Arizona, and even some engineers chose to leave because they could not stand it.

An engineer wrote in August last year: "I have been sleeping in the office for a month." there is a 12-hour working day here, and I often need to work shifts on weekends. I'm falling apart, and my work and life are completely out of control if I continue to stay here.

Another engineer left a message in January this year: "TSMC advocates the culture of obedience and is obviously not ready to integrate into the US market."

TSMC, which employs 65000 people worldwide, has so far recruited nearly 2000 people, including 600 engineers, for its Arizona plant.

TSMC said it plans to hire 4500 people for two Arizona fabs and increase to 42000 jobs by 2030.

In the context of TSMC's expanded recruitment, the conflict between the recruited American employees and TSMC's corporate culture has become increasingly acute, and the stringent work culture, strict standards and months-long overseas training requirements have deterred many Americans.
