CTOnews.com June 4 news, the lead developer Dominik Reichl recently released the password manager KeePass version 2.54 update, fixed the previous version of the attack vulnerability to further improve security.

The Belgian Federal Network Emergency response team warned in February that anyone with access to the KeePass profile could export the entire password database without user confirmation.

KeePass 2.54 further improves export security, and most export dialogs deploy a new "export" application policy Flag, which requires the user to re-enter the master password for confirmation.

KeePass 2.54 also adjusted the dialog box, replacing the traditional "OK" button with the "confirm Export" button to make the operation clearer; in addition, the banner enabled a new background color.
