CTOnews.com, June 3 (Xinhua)-- Microsoft recently introduced support for isolating running Win32 applications for consumer and enterprise Win11 users. Microsoft said that in order to improve security and protect the system from malware and other threats, developers and users can publish and run applications in a sandbox container and in an isolated environment.

Microsoft said that by deploying the new scheme, it can effectively prevent programs from accessing the internal subsystems of the system accidentally or without user authorization, thus minimizing the destructive power of malicious applications.

Microsoft is currently launching this feature in the form of a preview version, but ordinary Win11 users are not yet able to use matching apps. This security feature is based on AppContainers, and developers need to embed relevant code in the application before they can use it.

Microsoft is setting up a special page on GitHub, where CTOnews.com attaches a link that interested users can click to learn.
