CTOnews.com June 3, Bloomberg Mark Mark Gurman said in the latest Power On newsletter that Apple will release watchOS 10 at the WWDC 2023 developer Conference to further adapt applications to the Apple Watch Ultra big screen.

Apple Watch Ultra

49mm model with a screen size of 1.92 inches and a resolution of 502 x 410 pixels

Apple Watch Series 8 comes in two sizes:

The 41 mm model has a 1.69-inch screen with a resolution of 430 x 352 pixels

The 45mm model has a 1.9-inch screen with a resolution of 484 x 396 pixels

Since the launch of Apple's Apple Watch Ultra, one thing that has been criticized by users is that Apple's existing Apple Watch app does not fit the watch's big screen.

"Apple is revamping all the core applications on the Apple Watch so that they can take full advantage of the Apple Watch Ultra's large screen to meet Apple's subsequent needs for a larger screen Apple Watch," Mr Gurman said.

Goolman said that watchOS 10 mainly improved parts of UI such as widgets, improved performance, and added new action options for buttons. In the European market, Apple will allow some apps to be side-loaded, meaning users can bypass App Store and install certain apps.
