CTOnews.com reported on June 2 that BYD sold 240220 new energy vehicles in May, compared with 114943 in the same period last year, an increase of 97.63 percent over the same period last year, and production reached 246259 vehicles, an increase of 99.34 percent over the same period last year. Among them, the production and sales of pure electric models reached 126091 and 119603, an increase of 94.77% and 92.39% over the same period last year, while the production and sales data of plug-in hybrid models reached 119040 and 119489 respectively, up 103.89% and 102.80% respectively.

CTOnews.com obtained from the official, BYD today announced the detailed sales of each series of models:

The dynasty series sold 125515 vehicles, an increase of 71.6% over the same period last year.

The Han family sold 20387 vehicles, with a total of 72825 vehicles for the whole year, with cumulative sales exceeding 500000.

The Tang family sold 11871 vehicles, with a total of 56682 vehicles for the whole year, with cumulative sales exceeding 500000.

The Qin family sold 43757 vehicles, with a total of 171534 vehicles for the whole year, with cumulative sales exceeding 1 million.

The Yuan family sold 35815 vehicles, with a cumulative total of 172218 vehicles for the whole year, with cumulative sales exceeding 600000.

The Song family sold 13685 vehicles (including Song Pro and Song MAX), with a total of 59946 vehicles for the whole year, with cumulative sales exceeding 1.1 million.
