CTOnews.com June 3, after Motorola released the moto razr 40 series of foldable phones on June 1, Allison Yi, head of operations in North America, told foreign technology media CNET that more and more iPhone owners are switching to Android foldable phones.

When Bloomberg released a commentary last month, along with Google's launch of Pixel Fold, Apple was the only major phone maker that did not launch a foldable phone.

After a long time without waiting for Apple to launch a collapsible iPhone, consumers began to buy Android foldable phones instead. Motorola says 20% of its foldable phone users have previously used iPhone.

CNET said in a report that the figure is based on figures released by Motorola in 2021 and expects a higher proportion of transfers now.

IDC, a market research firm, estimates that global shipments of collapsible devices will increase by more than 50 per cent in 2023 compared with 2022.
