CTOnews.com June 2 News Kingston showcased its latest 48GB single "non-binary" memory stick at this year's Taipei Computer Show, which is expected to be launched soon.

According to reports, Kingston's Fury Beast and Renegade memory will both introduce "non-binary" memory capacity. Among them, Fury Beast series can be selected from 8GB to 48GB, and the specifications can be selected from 4800 MT/s to 6000 MT/s. Renegade series positioning is higher, optional 7200 MT/s high frequency version, optional 192GB (48GB*4) package.

CTOnews.com previously reported that such 48GB memory sticks use the latest 24Gb DRAM chips instead of the current standard 16Gb modules. If you take 20 24Gb DRAM chips and install them on a DIMM, you get 48GB of usable memory after taking into account ECC and metadata capacity.
