Thanks to CTOnews.com netizens Wu Yanzu in South China for the delivery of clues! CTOnews.com June 2, Linux hardware vendor System76 today updated 2023 Galago Pro Linux laptops with the 13th generation Intel H-Class CPU, which offers 12 or 14 CPU cores, as well as 144Hz screens.

This new System76 laptop comes with the 13th generation Intel Core "Raptor Lake" i5-13500H and i7-13700H processors.

The 13th generation Intel Core i5-13500H processor has 12 cores, 16 threads, 18MB cache and up to 4.7GHz frequency, while the 13th generation Intel Core i5-13500H processor has 14 cores, 20 threads, 24MB cache and up to 5.0GHz frequency. Both processors are equipped with integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics cards, WiFi 6e and Bluetooth 5.3.

The new Galago Pro laptop comes with a 14.1-inch full HD (1920 × 1080) frosted display that upgrades to the 144Hz refresh rate.

Like previous versions, the Galago Pro laptop is equipped with up to 64GB dual-channel DDR4 3200MHz RAM, up to 4TB M.2 PCIe Gen4 NVMe storage, multi-touch pad, backlit chocolate American QWERTY keyboard, Gigabit Ethernet, Thunderbolt 4-port, 53Wh lithium-ion battery, battery life of up to 5 hours, and slate blue chassis.

The basic configuration of the Galago Pro laptop with the 13th generation Intel Core i5-13500H processor, 8GB memory and 240GB SSD storage starts at $999 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 7093 yuan).

All configurations come with System76's Poppy desktop OS Linux 22.04 LTS distribution and COSMIC desktop environment or Ubuntu 22.04 LTS operating system, as well as System76 open firmware (Coreboot, EDK2, System76 firmware applications) and System76 open source embedded controller firmware.
