III. The growth of Internet business revenue in the eastern region has been accelerated. From January to April, the eastern region completed 380.5 billion yuan in Internet business revenue, an increase of 4.7 percent over the same period last year, an increase of 1.8 percentage points over the first quarter, 1.4 percentage points higher than the national growth rate, and accounted for 93.2 percent of the national Internet business revenue. Revenue from Internet business in the central region totaled 13.1 billion yuan, down 10.5 percent from the same period last year, or 4.4 percentage points lower than in the first quarter. Revenue from Internet business in the western region totaled 13.58 billion yuan, down 9.3 percent from the same period last year, or 0.2 percentage points lower than in the first quarter. Revenue from Internet business in Northeast China totaled 1.11 billion yuan, down 42.2 percent from the same period last year, or 8.6 percent more than in the first quarter.
