Selis Group sold 16740 vehicles in May, down 16.27 per cent from a year earlier, of which 8562 new energy vehicles were down 18.08 per cent from a year earlier, and 73409 in the first five months, down 26.57 per cent from a year earlier.

For reference, AITO delivered a total of 4585 new cars in April. In the first three months of this year, Selis Group's production and sales of new energy vehicles were 22990 and 19973 respectively, an increase of 32.19% and 40.65% over the same period last year.

In May last year, the delivery volume of the Mengjie series exceeded 5,000 units for the first time to reach 5006 units. The total number of M5 reached 11296 in 87 days, and the delivery of single model of innovative brand broke the record of 10,000.

Officials say Selis and Huawei have jointly designed a "smart car" model since the start of a joint business partnership in 2021. At present, the two sides jointly launched a number of AITO interface series models: AITO interface M5, AITO interface M7, and AITO interface M5 pure electric version. In addition, delivery of the AITO ask M5 smart car version will begin in the third quarter.

In February this year, Cyrus and Huawei signed a joint business deepening cooperation agreement, announcing the joint business goal of achieving 1 million new energy vehicle production and sales by 2026, as previously reported by CTOnews.com.
