Ubisoft said that as a heritage of the competitive nature of the game, the eight contestants were selected from the previous "full Dance World Cup finals", local competitions and the top players of host Singapore. These contestants will compete for the chance to become the champion of the Olympic e-sports series in the live finals on Friday, June 23.

As previously reported by CTOnews.com, the 2023 Olympic e-sports series is a global virtual and simulated sports competition organized by the International Olympic Committee (International Olympic Committee), the International Federation (International Federations) and game publishers. This event will be the first live final of the 2023 Olympic e-sports series, and will be held at Singapore's Suntech City Convention and Exhibition Center from June 22 to 25 as the highlight of the 2023 Olympic e-Sports week.
