CTOnews.com June 1, Samsung seems to have started updating some of its apps to support One UI 6, according to SamMobile. Calculator applications pre-installed on all Galaxy phones and tablets have received a new version update with added support for Android 14 and One UI 6.x, although the update does not seem to have been widely promoted.

The change log mentions that the update adds data unit (CTOnews.com note: megabyte and kilobyte, including KiB, MiB, GiB, TiB) conversion function, but it has been in calculator applications for some time.

There is a precedent for Samsung to start early updating apps that support the next versions of Android and One UI, but it is important to note that this does not necessarily mean that the One UI 6.0 Beta test program may be launched earlier than expected.

The One UI 5.0Beta program was officially launched in August 2022, while the One UI 4 Beta program was launched in September 2021, so it is possible for Samsung to release One UI 6.0Beta sometime in July, subject to further Samsung official announcement.
