Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--

CTOnews.com June 1, yesterday Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reported that Apple is expected to unveil "several new Mac" at its WWDC 2023 keynote speech on Monday, but it did not provide any details about which Mac the company will launch. Today Gurman brought a new report that Apple is testing two new Mac desktops with M2 Max and M2 Ultra chips.

It is reported that the code names of the two new Mac desktops are Mac14, 13 and Mac14,14, respectively. The new machine will use the M2 Max chip, which has been used on high-end MacBook Pro laptops released earlier this year. M2 Max chip has 12-core CPU and 30-core GPU, supporting the memory of the highest 96GB.

It is reported that the new phone also offers a configuration version with a more powerful M2 Ultra chip, a new processor that Apple has not yet announced. The M2 Ultra chip will double its performance on the basis of M2 Max, with 24-core CPU and 60-core GPU, and supports the highest 192GB memory. In addition, there is a higher-end M2 Ultra chip with a 76-core GPU.

Bloomberg said the M2 Ultra chip was originally designed for the Apple Silicon Mac Pro, but Apple decided to use the chip on the Mac Studio because of unclear design progress. The Mac Studio is a high-performance desktop computer for professional users that can handle high-intensity tasks such as video editing and 3D rendering, and Apple hopes to replace the Mac Pro.

In addition to two new Mac desktop computers, Bloomberg revealed that Apple is also developing two new MacBook Air, a new 13-inch MacBook Pro and a new iMac, all of which will carry the M3 chip. However, the first M3 Mac products are not expected to be launched until the end of this year.

WWDC 2023 developers' conference will be held at 1: 00 a.m. on June 6, Beijing time. Apple will show its latest software and hardware products to the global audience via online live broadcast. CTOnews.com will bring you a full report at that time.
