All platforms are as follows: Chrome ranked first in May with a global market share of 62.85%, down 0.60 percentage points from 63.45% last month.

Safari ranked second with 20.72%, up 0.24% from the previous month.

Edge ranked third with 5.31%, up 0.34% from the previous month.

Opera ranked fourth with 2.82%, up 0.41% from the previous month.

Browsers such as Firefox, Samsung browser and UC browser carve up the rest of the market.

The desktop situation is as follows: Chrome ranked first in May with a global market share of 66.02%, down 0.20 percentage points from 66.22% last month.

Safari ranked second with 12.79%, up 0.90% from the previous month.

Edge ranked third with a share of 9.91%, down 1.04% from last month.

Finally, Firefox ranked fourth with 5.28%, down 0.31 percentage points from the previous month.

Browsers such as Opera, IE, and secure browsers carve up the rest of the market.

The mobile phone situation is as follows: Chrome ranked first with a global market share of 61.09% in May, down 0.67 percentage points from 61.76% last month.

Safari ranked second with 27.81%, up 0.81% from the previous month.

Samsung browser ranked third with 4.97%, up 0.14 percentage points from last month.

Finally, Opera ranked fourth with 1.8 per cent, down 0.09 percentage points from the previous month

Browsers such as UC, Android and Firefox carve up the rest of the market.
